1. Who We Are

ColorMercado operates multiple TikTok Shop seller accounts targeting buyers in Mexico. This privacy policy explains how we handle data accessed through our internal customer service application (CS4TK) when interacting with buyer conversations on TikTok Shop.

2. Data We Access

Through the TikTok Shop Customer Service and Order APIs, we may access:

• Buyer messages and conversation metadata from our own authorized shops
• Order information related to those conversations (order ID, status, shipping, items)
• Buyer nicknames and TikTok user IDs (used solely for replying to customer inquiries)

We do not collect, store, or process data from any shop that has not explicitly authorized our app via the Custom app Targeting whitelist.

3. Purpose

Data is used exclusively to:

• Respond to customer service inquiries in a timely manner
• Look up order context when handling complaints, returns, or shipping questions
• Improve internal customer service workflows

4. Data Storage

All API communication uses HTTPS (TLS 1.2 or higher). Access tokens and API credentials are stored encrypted on internal systems with disk encryption enabled. Buyer-identifiable data is retained only for the duration necessary to handle ongoing customer service cases and is automatically purged after case resolution.

5. Data Sharing

We do NOT sell, lease, or share buyer data with any third party. The data accessed via CS4TK is used solely within our internal customer service workflow.

6. User Rights

TikTok Shop buyers can exercise their rights regarding their personal data (access, deletion, correction) by contacting TikTok Shop directly or by reaching us via the contact information below. Upon receiving a verified user request, we will delete or provide the requested information within a reasonable period.

7. Data Breach Notification

In the event of a data breach affecting buyer information, we will notify TikTok Shop and affected buyers in accordance with applicable laws and TikTok Shop's data processing agreement.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date at the top.
